  • Pullman is a beautiful city-

a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

We need strong representation in city government we can count on to support our working families and businesses, while giving them every opportunity to achieve their goals and dreams.
  • Pullman needs City Council members who are ready to tackle the issues as they arise with a mind toward our future, while simultaneously protecting and preserving necessary funding for critical operations such as infrastructure, public safety, encouraging tourism and managed growth, and ensuring city government is operating to the best standards possible.
  • I personally believe we can bring about positive change to benefit not just city government, but the current and future residents of Pullman and our surrounding areas as a whole, who are growing up, going to school, and living their own lives here...just as I have.
Interacting with citizens of Pullman and working together in addressing issues that affect us all, such as managed growth, environmental concerns, and homelessness to name a few.
Ethics, empathy, and a desire to bring about positive change to benefit as many people as possible.
To represent and create a fostering environment with the best interests of all in mind, including constituents on every level- residents and businesses alike.
The Iran hostage crisis in 1979. It was a 444-day standoff where Iranian students held 52 American diplomats and citizens hostage at the U.S. embassy in Tehran. I was 10 years-old, and I remember sitting with my grandmother listening to updates on the NBC Nightly News with John Chancellor.
Working for my father bagging groceries in his first store when I was around 10 years-old. Eventually he grew that number to five stores and a deli. Good times...
Most local legislative government positions are considered to be open to any and all who feel they are qualified to act in such a capacity, would be willing to take up the cause, and are designed for the so-called "everyman".
Patience, empathy, and the ability to listen to others. A fair knowledge of Roberts Rules of Order might help!
These are top of mind awareness items, and along with ethical considerations are what I would personally consider to be basic hallmarks of effective trustworthy leadership in government.
