2014

Steed explained his themes for the 2014 campaign on his campaign website:

Our school system is broken!

  • Our students are being robbed of the education they need to excel in life.
  • There is no equity in our schools.
  • Our teachers are underpaid and unappreciated.
  • Our transportation system is out of date and unreliable.
  • And our School Board, quite frankly, has failed our students and our city.

Now my opponent is okay with this - But our students deserve better, and I will give them better!
