John "Jay" Robichaux

John "Jay" Robichaux was an independent District 6 representative on the St. Charles Parish School Board in Louisiana. He was first elected to the office in 2002. He sought re-election in the 2014 general election. As he was unopposed at the close of the qualifying period, Robichaux was automatically re-elected on August 22, 2014.

All eight seats on St. Charles Parish School Board were up for election in 2014, but only one contested race was on the November 4 ballot. Milton Allemand Jr. challenged District 1 incumbent Ellis Alexander Sr. The remaining seven district seats were retained by their incumbents, all of whom were unopposed at the close of the qualifying period. The unopposed incumbents were Melinda Huff Bernard in District 2, Dennis J. Naquin in District 3, Clarence "Sonny" H. Savoie in District 4, John L. Smith in District 5, John "Jay" Robichaux in District 6, Arthur Aucoin in District 7 and Alex "Al" Suffrin in District 8.[1]

Robichaux was re-elected without opposition on August 22, 2014.
Funding
Robichaux reported no contributions or expenditures to the Louisiana Ethics Administration Program.[2]
