John Brown (Republican Party) was the Northampton County Executive in Pennsylvania.

Brown began serving as Northampton County Executive in 2014. Previously, he also served as the Mayor of Bangor and worked in the private sector revitalizing struggling businesses. As of the 2016 election, Brown lived with his wife, Tina, and son, Zachary, in Northampton County. [1]

Brown ran unopposed in the Republican primary for Pennsylvania Auditor. He competed with incumbent Eugene DePasquale (D) in the November 8 general election.[2] The filing deadline was February 16, 2016.

Incumbent Eugene DePasquale defeated John A. Brown, John Sweeney, and Roy Minet in the Pennsylvania auditor election.
