John Aaron Holt
John Aaron Holt (Democratic Party) is a judge for Division XI of the Davidson County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. His current term ends on September 1, 2030.
Holt (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for the Division XI judge of the Davidson County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. He won in the general election on August 4, 2022.
Education
Holt received his undergraduate degree from David Lipscomb University in 1977 and his J.D. degree from the Nashville School of Law in 1982.[1]
Career
Prior to his judicial election in 1998, Holt worked as an attorney in private practice for thirteen years and served two terms as a Metro councilman of the 22nd District. He was the presiding judge of the Davidson County General Sessions Court from 2001 to 2003.[1]
