John M. Alexander was a judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was first elected to this position on September 3, 1996, and took office the following January.[1][2][3] He was re-elected without opposition in 2014, winning a six-year term that expires on January 4, 2021.[4][5]

Alexander retired from the court effective December 31, 2020.[6]

As an unopposed candidate, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot. [4] 

Education

Alexander received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and then his J.D. degree from Ohio Northern University College of Law in 1984.[1][7]

Career

Alexander is a former administrative judge for the St. Johns County Court. He was elected to the circuit court in 1996.[8]
