John Alsop is a judge for the probate court in Somerset County, Maine.[1] He joined the probate court in 1997. He was unopposed in the 2012 general election for a term that would have expired in 2016.[2] Alsop resigned in June 2014 to take a job as an assistant attorney general.[3][4]
