A third-generation Port Huron resident and graduate of our public schools, I helped run my family’s bars and restaurants in downtown Port Huron before working in the skilled trades.
I am a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 58 and have worked as a licensed electrician for the past three decades, leading safety instruction and work crews on large-scale projects across the region. My work is a testament to my steady hand and common-sense approach to solving problems.
On the Port Huron City Planning Commission, I listen to and uplifts the wide-ranging voices of local residents, including homeowners, renters, landlords, small business owners, major employers, and organizations that are the backbone of our community.
Now, I am running for State Representative to improve quality of life and ensure our area remains a great place to live, work, and visit.- I want to safeguard reproductive rights, including access to IVF, contraception, and abortion. We need to keep government out of personal medical decisions.
- I will support local small businesses, create family-sustaining jobs, advocate for paid family and medical leave, and stand up for workers’ rights. I will also hold price-gouging corporations accountable and rein in the cost of essentials, from groceries to medicine to housing, to help families make ends meet.
- I will protect our clean lakes and waterways, which are essential to our economy, well-being, and way of life.
