Goldrick received his undergraduate degree in 1987 from Illinois State University in Normal, IL and his J.D. in 1991 from Mississippi College in Jackson, Mississippi.[1]

Before his appointment to the 11th Circuit, Goldrick engaged in solo practice in Bloomington, Illinois.[1]
