Biography
John B. Walker is a human resources director with Ojai Unified School District after retiring from Verizon after 34 years of service. He earned his Bachelor's degree from California Stat University Long Beach and earned his Master's from Pepperdine University. John has lived in Ventura since 1979 and been married to his wife Kathy for 42 years. They have two daughters that are involved in education and five grandchildren.[1]

2013
John B. Walker ran against two other candidates, fellow incumbents Mary Haffner and Velma L. Lomax for three seats in the general election on November 5, 2013. With only the three incumbent candidates filing for the positions, the election was canceled and removed from the ballot.
