John Bartlett (West Virginia)
John Bartlett was a 2016 Constitution Party candidate for the District 52 seat in the West Virginia House of Delegates and a 2016 candidate for the Preston County Magistrate Court.[1] He lost the state legislative race in the general election on November 8, 2016, and the judicial race in the general election on May 10, 2016.
Bartlett was also a 2012 Constitution Party candidate for the District 52 seat in the West Virginia House of Delegates.

Terri Funk Sypolt defeated incumbent Steven Shaffer and John Bartlett in the West Virginia House of Delegates District 52 general election.[2][3]

Judicial election
West Virginia held general elections for county judicial offices on May 10, 2016. This date coincided with partisan primaries for statewide and federal offices. The 2016 election was the first nonpartisan election for the state's judicial seats since statehood in 1863. Learn more about this change here. Candidates interested in filing for the election submitted paperwork by January 30, 2016. Eugene Jenkins defeated John Bartlett in the general election for the Preston County Magistrate Court Division 3 seat.[1]

Bartlett ran in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 52. Bartlett was defeated by incumbent Larry A. Williams (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[6][7][8]
