John Binienda, Sr.
John J. Binienda, Sr. (June 22, 1947 - August 22, 2014) was a Democratic member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the Seventeenth Worcester district from 1986 to his death in 2014. Binienda, who had been fighting kidney disease and diabetes, did not seek re-election in 2014.[1]
Binienda was a member of the Worcester City Committee.[2]

2012
Binienda won re-election in the 2012 election for Massachusetts House of Representatives Seventeenth Worcester District. Binienda was unopposed in the September 6 Democratic primary and defeated William LeBeau (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
2010
Binienda won re-election to the Seventeenth Worcester seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the September 14 primary. He also faced no opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010.[5]

Binienda left behind his wife, Beverly. He was involved with the American Legion Main South Post, Knights of Columbus, Main South Community Development Corporation, Polish American Veterans, Polish Naturalization Independent Club, Saint Andrews Men's Club and the South Worcester Neighborhood Center Board of Directors.[8]
