Candidate Connection

John Bonaventura participated in Ballotpedia's candidate survey on May 15, 2018. The survey questions appear in bold, and John Bonaventura's responses follow below.[1]

What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

Education, Criminal Justice, and Prison Reform Taxes[2][3]

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?

No sanctuary cities. Protect our 2nd amendment gun rights. No new unfair Internet taxes. I believe that we should follow the Constitution. The Constitution has been usurped for too long, as in the case of what the two County Commissioners running for Governor did to the Las Vegas Constable’s Office. Circumventing the voters and violating the Constitution. We have to hold our elected officials accountable for violations of our Nevada Constitution and their oaths of office. I’m the most conservative Democrat running. We need a governor that will serve the people not their own self interest.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many[3]

Ballotpedia also asked the candidate a series of optional questions. John Bonaventura answered the following:
