John S. Bryant was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. He was first appointed to this position in August of 2006 and he retired from the court in 2016.[1][2]

Education

Judge Bryant earned his undergraduate degree from Davidson College in 1970 and his law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1973.[1]

Career

After graduation, Mr. Bryant practiced law in Nashville for 33 years before becoming a magistrate judge. His practice focused on civil litigation.[1]
