John C. Costigan

John C. Costigan is a circuit judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He was appointed to the office on December 12, 2014, and assumed the bench on January 2, 2015. He will need to run for election to the bench in 2016 to keep his seat.[1]
Costigan served as an associate judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court from 2006 until his appointment as circuit judge.[2][3]
Education
Costigan received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and his J.D. degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.[1]
Career
Before he became a judge, Costigan practiced law for fifteen years with the firm of Costigan and Wollrab in Bloomington, Illinois.[1]
