Vyhlidal earned his bachelor's degree at Nebraska Wesleyan University and his master's in management from Wilmington University. He served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force and led project teams at PricewaterhouseCoopers. At the time of his candidacy, Vyhlidal was working for ConAgra Foods where he focused on planning, consulting and execution of organizational effectiveness initiatives.[1]
