1. I'm the proud father of two adult daughters who are wonderful people, they are beautiful inside and out. I'm also a PS teacher in my 23rd year. Prior to teaching, I worked in construction, factory work, and real estate as I put myself through college part time and full time as I could afford to. I was born and raised in New Haven and have spent my entire life in New and West Haven. My paternal grandfather came over on the Lusitania a year before it was torpedoed and I am the youngest of 6 children and the first to earn a 4 year college degree.
  • Make CT AFFORDABLE. We are in the top 5 in every "most expensive" category there is and in the bottom ten for every positive category. We need to turn this around.
  • Make CT SAFE. We need to fund the police, give them the tools and resources they need to succeed and increase the amount of officers and patrols.
  • Improve education. As a teacher, I know where and how funding should be spent to improve performance.
The environment. I'm a member of the National Arbor Day Society and the WWF.
I can see both sides of the coin and understand that there is always a meeting point that will satisfy all involved parties.
That I put CT back on track.
I don't know if I could just select one, but I'll with "Stonefox". I read it with my class every year. A Fantastic story about a boy and his dog that will bring tears to your eyes. Can't give away much more than that or it would ruin it for anyone who hasn't read it yet.
