I am a business owner/operator, and have lived in Sandoval County, NM for 26 years. I am a life-long Republican and common-sense conservative. The first U.S. President I had the privilege of voting for was Ronald Reagan. I arrived in New Mexico in 1994 to start a business, (JC Blinds), and to live a dream in a place I believe has the most breathtaking sunsets and best weather in the nation. I am a family man; married with 5 children, and 3 granddaughters. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science at the University of Northern Colorado, where I served as a legislative intern for Colorado State Senator, Al Meiklejohn.

I am running for public office to thwart partisan politics in government, and to prevent government overreach and control of our businesses, schools, liberties, and inalienable rights. I genuinely believe that I can use my successful business experience and acumen to help make an exceptional difference for New Mexicans. I hope to get our budget balanced, and remove the stigma of "worst" on the national average list for violent crime, education, poverty, places to raise children, places to live and retire, and instead impart a safer, stronger New Mexico.

  • I am an energetic, experienced, life-long, common-sense, conservative Republican with a tenacity to take on complex issues in pursuit of creating effective and practical solutions that are fair and good for New Mexicans.
  • As a successful business owner/operator, I possess the knowledge and ingenuity to create jobs that will keep New Mexicans here - both employed and successful, so that they too will embrace the heartbeat of economic growth, which is small business.
  • I will work tirelessly with legislators to develop a realistic budget, cut taxes, improve health care, while protecting, defending and preserving the inalienable rights, liberties and safety of New Mexicans.
