John Cowan
John Cowan (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Georgia's 14th Congressional District. He lost in the Republican primary runoff on August 11, 2020.
Biography
Cowan graduated from Davidson College with a B.S. in physics. He received an M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed a residency in neurosurgery at the University of Michigan Medical School. As of his 2020 campaign, Cowan was a neurosurgeon and founder of Cortex Toys and Cortex Holdings.[1][2]
