John D. Hartigan, Jr. is a judge for the Nebraska District Courts, District 4, in Nebraska. He has served in this position from 1991 until he retired in 2011.[1][2]
Education
Hartigan received his J.D. degree from the Creighton University School of Law in 1978.[1]
Career
Hartigan began his career in 1978 as a private practice lawyer. He worked in this capacity in Omaha, Nebraska until his judicial appointment in 1991. He was the Presiding Judge of the 4th District Court in 1998 and 1999.[1]
