John Dailey
John Dailey is the Mayor of Tallahassee in Florida. He assumed office on November 19, 2018. His current term ends on November 16, 2026.
Dailey ran for re-election for Mayor of Tallahassee in Florida. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Mayoral elections in Tallahassee are nonpartisan. Media outlets have reported that Dailey is affiliated with the Democratic Party.[1][2]
Biography
Dailey received a bachelor's degree in political science from Florida State University in 1996 and a master's degree in public administration from Florida State in 1999. He then attended the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he received a master's degree in urban and regional planning in 2000. Dailey previously worked for the Florida League of Cities and the National League of Cities, as a commercial realtor, and as founder and president of JDA Strategies. Dailey served on the Leon County Commission from 2006 to 2018.[3][4]
