He received his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 1977, graduating summa cum laude and with the following honors: Order of the Coif; Justinian Honorary Law Society Award for Scholastic Excellence; and American Jurisprudence Awards in Criminal Law, Evidence and Future Interests.[1]
