John Dean Moxley, Jr. was a Brevard County judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He joined the court in 1985. In 2008, he was re-elected to a term that ended on January 5, 2015. He retired at the end of his term.[1][2][3]

Education

Moxley received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Duke University in 1966 and 1969, respectively.[2][4]

Career

Moxley began his career in 1970 as a judge advocate in the U.S. Air Force. He served there until 1974, when he became an assistant state attorney. He then joined the circuit court in 1985.[2]
