John Doll (Minnesota)
John Doll (b. March 12, 1961) was a Democratic member of the Minnesota State Senate. He was first elected to the position in November of 2006 with his term expiring in 2010. He was defeated in the November 2, 2010, general election.
Doll attended Anoka-Ramsey Community College and the University of Minnesota. Doll's professional experience includes working as the owner/operator of Imagine Tile and Stone.[1]

Doll lost re-election to the 40th District seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. Dan Hall ran for the seat on the Republican ticket. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[3]
2006
On November 7, 2006, Doll won election to the 40th District Seat in the Minnesota State Senate, defeating Bill Belanger (R).[4]

The Kansas Policy Institute, Kansas’s "first free market think tank," releases its legislator scorecard as a part of its Kansas Freedom Index for Kansas state representatives and senators once a year. The Score Card gives each legislator a score from 1%-100% based on how they voted in the prior legislative term on specific issues which the Kansas Policy Institute thought were pro-limited government policies.[5]
