John Drayton
John Drayton was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. He was nominated by President James Madison on May 5, 1812. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 7, 1812, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on November 27, 1822.[1] Drayton was succeeded in this position by Thomas Lee.
