John E. Greenwood
John E. Greenwood is a former judge for the Southeast Judicial District of North Dakota. Greenwood was based out of Jamestown, which is located in Stutsman County. He was appointed to the position by Governor Edward T. Schafer in 1999.[1][2] Greenwood retired on August 1, 2017.[3]
Education
Greenwood earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota in 1971. He received his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1975.[2]

- 1993-2002: State's attorney, Stutsman County
- 1977-1986: Assistant state's attorney, Stutsman County
- 1975-1993: Attorney in private practice[2]
