John C. Englander is a judge on the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the intermediate appellate court for the state of Massachusetts. Gov. Charlie Baker (R) appointed Englander in September 2017. Englander joined the court December 6.[1][2]
Education
Englander received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Cornell University in 1980. He obtained a J.D. from Boston University in 1983.[2]

Englander was a law clerk to the Hon. Bailey Aldrich of the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and for Justice William Rehnquist of the United States Supreme Court.[2]
