John Espindola
John Espindola is a member of the Alaska Regulatory Commission. He assumed office on June 12, 2023.
Gov. Mike Dunleavy (R) appointed Espindola to Alaska Regulatory Commission on June 12, 2023 to replace Dan Sullivan.[1] On September 4, 2024, Espindola was elected chairman of the commission.[2]
Biography
Prior to his appointment to the Alaska Regulatory Commission, Espindola served as a personal assistant to Governor of Alaska Mike Dunleavy (R) from 2018 to 2021. From 2022 to 2023, Espindola served as a policy advisor to Gov. Dunleavy. [1]
Prior to joining Gov. Dunleavy’s administration, Espindola was a construction professional who served on the Albuquerque, New Mexico Energy Council from 2008 to 2013. Espindola is also a member of the executive committee of the National Council on Electric Policy. [1]
Education
Espindola earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of New Mexico. [1]
