John F. Davis is a former judge for the Thirteenth Judicial District of New Mexico. Davis was appointed to the bench in August 2006 and served until his retirement on January 31, 2020.[1][2][3]

Elections

2014

Davis was retained to the 13th District Court with 71.2 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [4] 

Judicial performance evaluation

The New Mexico Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission recommended that Judge Davis be retained. The full report is available here.

Education

Davis received his undergraduate degree from the University of Albuquerque and his J.D. from the University of New Mexico.[1]

Career

Additionally, Davis worked as Rio Rancho municipal judge and as special commissioner for domestic violence, domestic relations and child support cases in the 13th Judicial District.[1]
