John F. Kolberg ran for judge on the Miamisburg Municipal Court in Montgomery County, Ohio in 2011.

2011 election

Kolberg was defeated by Robert Rettich in the Republican primary on May 3, receiving only 33.37% of the vote.[1][2]

Republican Party recommendation

The Republican Party of Montgomery County recommended Kolberg over his opponent in a Screening Committee in January.[3]

Career

Kolberg has been a magistrate at the Miamisburg Municipal Court from nineteen years. He has also served as acting judge of the court for nine years.[3]
