John Fuller was appointed as a temporary judge for the Orleans Parish Criminal Court, Section D, in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. In March 2016, Fuller was appointed for a six-month term to fill a vacancy left by the retirement of Frank A. Marullo, Jr.[1] In April 2016, Fuller declined the appointment to serve as an attorney for Cardell Hayes, who was accused of killing former professional football player Will Smith.[2]
