John George (Oklahoma)
John George (Republican Party) is a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing District 36. He assumed office on November 23, 2022. His current term ends on November 18, 2026.
George (Republican Party) won re-election to the Oklahoma House of Representatives to represent District 36 outright in the Republican primary on June 18, 2024, after the Republican primary and general election were canceled.
Biography
John George served in the Oklahoma National Guard and reached the rank of second lieutenant. George earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from East Central University. His career experience includes working as a police officer. George has served as the president of the Oklahoma City Fraternal Order of Police.[1]
