John H. Thompson
John H. Thompson was the director of the United States Census Bureau. He was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on August 1, 2013, by a vote of unanimous consent.[1]
Thompson was previously the President and C.E.O. of the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago. He worked with NORC for 11 years after serving 27 years in the Census Bureau from 1975 to 2002.[2]
