Hannah ran for re-election for judge of the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
Hannah was initially appointed in November 2005.
Biography
John Hannah received a B.A. from Pomona College in 1980 and a J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law in 1984. He began his legal career in private practice (1985–1989) before becoming a staff attorney for the Arizona Capital Representation Project (1989–1991). He went on to serve as an assistant federal public defender for the U.S. Public Defenders Office in Phoenix (1991–1998) before working in private practice again until his appointment (1998–2006).[1]
