John Henning
John Henning was a senior status judge for the West Virginia Circuit Courts, serving in various positions in the courts while officially a retired judge.[1] On October 31, 2014, he was assigned to the Twentieth Judicial Circuit, following the suspension of former Judge Jaymie Godwin Wilfong. Henning served on the court for the remainder of Wilfong's term, which expired on December 31, 2016.[2]
From February 2013 to August 2013, Henning served as the acting judge for the Twenty-Sixth Judicial Circuit while the search for a permanent judge was conducted.[3] The vacancy on the court was created after Judge Thomas H. Keadle retired in December 2012.[4][5]
Education
Henning received his B.S. from Morehead State University and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore.[6]
Career
Henning served as an acting judge for the Twenty-Sixth Judicial Circuit from February 2013 to August 2013.[3]
