John Hie is a member of the Tennessee Public Utility Commission. Hie assumed office in 2018.
Hie was appointed to the Tennessee Public Utility Commission on May 8, 2018, by Governor Bill Haslam (R), Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey (R), and House Speaker Beth Harwell (R).[1]
Biography
Hie was born in Germany. He moved to the United States in 1951. Hie graduated from the University of Tennessee’s College of Pharmacy in 1969. He served as a pharmacist in the United States Army at Walter Reed Army Medical Center from 1969 until 1972. Hie also worked in the finance industry.[1][2]
