John Holmes (Michigan)
John Holmes was a judge for the 10th District Court in Calhoun County, Michigan.[1] He served as chief judge of the court from 1994 to 2014.[2] His current term was to expire on January 1, 2019, however, Holmes retired from the court on June 7, 2014.[3]
Education
Holmes received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1966 and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1969.[2]

- 1978-1980: Instructor at Kellogg Community College
- 1975-1977: Attorney, Sole practitioner

2012 election
Holmes was re-elected to the 10th District Court after running unopposed in 2012.[4]
