Hunt (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Cheshire 14. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
John Hunt has served as the treasurer of the Rindge Historical Society and the treasurer of the Library's Ingalls 1894 Association.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Luke Sacher was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent John Hunt and incumbent Susan Emerson were unopposed in the Republican primary. Sacher, Hunt and Emerson faced off in the general election.[6] Incumbents Hunt and Emerson defeated Sacher in the general election, and will retain their seats.[7]

Hunt won re-election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Cheshire 11. Hunt advanced past the September 11 primary and won re-election unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[8][9]
2010
On November 2, 2010, Hunt was re-elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives.[10][11]
2008
On November 4, 2008, Hunt won re-election by finishing first for the four-seat Cheshire District 7 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives receiving 3,733 votes ahead of Republican Susan Emerson (3,733), Democrat Bonnie Mitchell (3,583), Republicans Franklin Sterling (3,038) and William Shea (2,753), Democrat Keith David Halloran (2,480), and "Others" (11).[12]
Hunt raised $3,700 for his campaign, against $3,849 for Mitchell, $875 for Emerson, and $845 for Halloran.[13]
