DelMonte ran for election to the Supreme Court, 8th District.

General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 6.7 percent of the vote. He competed against incumbents Donna M. Siwek and Frederick J. Marshall, as well as E. Jeannette Ogden, Dennis E. Ward, Paul B. Wojtaszek, Daniel J. Furlong and Mary Slisz for five open seats. [1] 

Education

DelMonte received his J.D. from the South Texas College of Law in 1979. He earned the degree with high honors.[2]

Career

DelMonte has been an attorney in private practice since 1979.[2]
