John J. Elliott was a judge for the Oswego County Surrogate's Court in New York. He was elected to the court in 1988 and re-elected in 2008. He also served as an acting justice of the Oswego County Supreme Court.[1] Elliott retired from the court at the end of 2012, due to the mandatory retirement age.[2]

Education

Elliott attended Hamilton College for his Bachelor of Arts and Albany Law School for his J.D.[1][3]

Career

Elliott joined the Oswego County Surrogate's Court in 1988 and was appointed an Acting Supreme Court Justice in 2000.[1]
