The November 4, 2014, general election in Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District featured four seats up for election. In the Place 1 race, incumbent Juan "Sonny" Palacios Jr. faced a challenge from Patricio Eronini. Place 2 incumbent Jaime Chavana did not file for re-election. Eduardo "Eddie" Saenz Jr. and Oscar Salinas ran for that seat. Place 3 incumbent David Torres did not file for re-election, either; Ellie Torres and John J. Rodriguez faced off to replace him. In the Place 5 race, Martin "Doc" Castillo ran against Xavier Salinas.

Funding

Candidates must file reports with the Texas Ethics Commission or the appropriate county clerk.
