An honest searcher for truth; a wary opponent of hate and deceit. A lover of Utah and America; a despiser of the ills of our nation. An advocate for the homeless; a shield against those who would abuse the poor. A friend to the refugee; an adversary to those of high station. A man of the people; a person willing to stand for what is right even when it is unpopular. A lover of God; a respecter of those who don't know God. A person who salutes the flag; a being who respects the right of others not to salute the flag. A man fond of physical exercise, a being too old to exercise much.
  • I will seek to preserve the principles of the Constitution.
  • I will endeavor to bring justice for those who do not have it, including those who are Black and Hispanic.
  • I will strive to end plea bargaining, and move justice from the hands of DAs to the courts, where the rendering of decisions belongs.
One great concern of mine is immigration. I believe in helping the poor coming from other nations, seeking to join their families, and to work, and to become part of the greatest nation on earth.
