  • Environment: We have to safeguard our local environment and open spaces in order to ensure that Washington’s natural beauty is accessible to everyone. This also means prioritizing our thinly spread Greater Clark County Parks District resources so that more people will have outdoor recreation opportunities closer to home.
  • Housing: Clark County lacks the appropriate housing inventory, which risks pricing out many families. We must make homeownership more attainable by pushing for sustainable development that maintains the elements that make Clark County a great place to live and push for good paying jobs that will empower future generations to achieve their dreams.
  • Traffic: Clark County already has a serious traffic problem, we must upgrade our roadways and infrastructure so that our roads can meet current and future demand. Reducing lanes for alternate and underutilized forms of transportation adds to congestion, we must upgrade our roadways based on how they are actually used, not how policymakers wish they would be used.
