John Jay Gontarek is a judge of the First Circuit Court in Florida. He was elected to this position in 2012, effective in January of 2013, and his current term expires in 2019.[1][2][3]

Education

Gontarek received his B.A. degree from the University of Florida in 1977 and his J.D. degree from the Samford University, Cumberland School of Law in 1980.[4]

Gontarek was a sole practitioner at The Law Office of John Jay Gontarek, P.A. prior to becoming a judge.[4]
