John Joseph Briggs
John Joseph Briggs is a judge of the Weld County Court in Colorado.

Briggs was appointed by Governor Bill Ritter, effective January 1, 2011, and was later retained by voters in 2014.[1][2]

Briggs was retained to the Weld County Court, Colorado with 68.4 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3]

Education
Briggs earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 1993.[2]
Career
Prior to his judicial appointment in 2011, Briggs was an attorney with the Law Offices of Robert Ray LLC from 2004 to 2010. He also gained six years of experience as a public defender for the states of Colorado and Nebraska.[2]
