John W. Kern III was a judge on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. He was appointed to the court by President Lyndon Johnson in 1968 and took on senior status in 1984.[1][2]

Education

Kern received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University in 1949 and his J.D. from Harvard University in 1952.[3]
