I am John Krhin, son of naturalized citizen Peter Krhin, who came to the U.S. from Austria in 1913. I was born in Chisholm, MN, the last of eight children, when my father was 60 and my mother 50. This gives me a distinctly different perspective on culture, since my life spans five generations, from my father's birth in 1892. My wife, Julia, and I have been married for nearly 53 years and have been blessed with 8 children, 34 grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Born, raised, and residing in the very center of the Iron Range, I've personally witnessed the politics of John Blatnik, James Oberstar, and Rudy Perpich, and the shift from Minnesota common-sense values to the woke culture promoted by today's Democrats. More recently, after serving as an ordained minister of the Gospel since 1981, my wife and I have participated in the grassroots effort to bring the Iron Range into the 21st Century, giving it and Northern Minnesota comprehensive conservative Republican representation for the first time in 100 years. Now, as the next Governor of MN, I propose to lead the rest of MN back to Common Sense for MN, modeled on that launched by Thomas Paine before the U.S. Revolution. MN needs a Constitutional reset, of which I will lead the way, bringing government back to WE THE PEOPLE, reducing the size and scope of MN government, giving citizens, not entrenched politicians, control of the State. @krhin4gov and krhin4gov.com
  • I will govern within the scope of the MN State and U.S. Constitutions, and The Declaration of Independence, all of which are undergirded by the fact that our rights are endowed by our Creator, the God of the Bible, and that these documents are intrinsically built upon the Christian development of Western culture. Our immigration policy is also built upon this foundation, requiring by oath that citizenship requires the renunciation of fidelity and all allegiance to any foreign prince, potentate, or sovereignty. Historically this pattern of assimilation to our God-ordained Republic, includes the adaptation of English as our common language, requiring occasional limits and even suspension of immigration to advance this process. WE THE PEOPLE.
  • Government is bloated and has grown beyond the comprehension of our Founders. However, their foresight produced Article V of our U.S. Constitution, which grants the States the ability to call for a Convention of States for proposing Amendments to the Constitution. The current initiative has been legislatively approved by 19 States, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress. I will lead MN to join this effort, which will trigger the Convention when 34 States pass the initiative. This will provide a model for MN, upon which we can implement similar amendments to our State Constitution.
  • Life, is the preeminent unalienable Right endowed by our Creator. Since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade, MN and all the Stated have the opportunity to reinstate life as a guarantee for the unborn. I will lead MN to form a LIFE INITIATIVE COUNCIL, tasked with producing a 21st century study of life from conception to the grave, and an historically accurate study of how the abortion industry has disrupted the development of our Constitutional Republic, exposing the deranged initiatives of Margaret Sanger and her sympathizers, aimed first at diminishing the influence of the black race, and now destroying the fundamental ability of U.S. citizenry to produce a God-given posterity upon which our Nation can be built. WE THE PEOPLE
The U.S. and MN State Constitutions were formed by the People to, in turn, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and Secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity...and institute government for the security, benefit and protection of the people, in whom all political power is inherent, together with the right to alter, modify or reform government whenever required by the public good. These proclamations cascade through every level of government bureaucracy, which must be comprehensively reviewed, reformed, or even eliminated if it is shown that our Constitutional directives are not honored.
