John L. Fishel

John L. Fishel, II was a judge of the 14th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist on July 19, 2010. He replaced retired Judge Richard Albritton. He was elected in 2012.[1][2] He resigned from the court on December 31st, 2021.
Education
Fishel received his bachelor's degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his J.D. from Florida State University.[1]
Career
Prior to his judicial appointment, Fishel worked as a private practice lawyer. He practiced with the law firm of Harrison, Sale, McCloy and Thompson 1988 to 1995, was a partner with Boggs and Fishel from 1996 to 2006, and worked as a sole practitioner from 2007 to 2010. He was appointed to the circuit court in July of 2010.[1]
2012 election
Fishel was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[3]
