John L. Napier was a judge on the United States Court of Federal Claims. He was appointed to the court by President Ronald Reagan in 1986 and resigned his commission in 1989.[1]

Education

Napier received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College in 1969 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1972.[1]

Military service

While obtaining his bachelor's degree, Napier was in the ROTC program at Davidson. Later, he joined the United States Army Reserve, where he was as First Lieutenant in the Air Defense Artillery.[1]
