John Luthy
John Luthy is a judge of the Utah Court of Appeals. He assumed office on October 28, 2022. His current term ends on January 4, 2027.
Gov. Spencer Cox (R) appointed Luthy to the court on October 4, 2022, to replace Diana Hagen. Luthy was confirmed by the Utah State Senate on October 19, 2022, and took office on October 28 of that year.[1][2]
Biography
Luthy received a B.A. in political science and government from Utah State University in 1996 and a J.D. from Brigham Young University in 2000.[3]
Prior to joining the court, Luthy was the Cache County attorney.[3]
